Business leaders come forward to support #valuable

Addressing an audience of senior business leaders and 1,400 young leaders from 196 countries, Caroline took to the main stage at the One Young World summit on Friday 6th October 2017 to call for business leaders to join her onstage to demonstrate their support for #valuable and the one billion global disabled people.

Twelve business leaders came forward in response to her call, including Unilever Chief Executive Officer Paul Polman and Verizon Wireless Chief Executive Officer Ronan Dunne.

Among the 10 other business leaders who joined Polman and Dunne onstage were Telefónica Colombia’s President & Chief Executive Officer Alfonso Gómez Palacio, and Mesoamerica Group Founding Partner & Managing Director Luis Javier Castro.

In 2018, #valuable will seek 5 global business leaders and 10 young leaders to become official ambassadors for the campaign, and help put disability inclusion on the international business agenda.

These leaders will drive #valuable’s mission to identify 500 global businesses that will commit to putting disability on their boardroom agenda and to ensure disability is equally included on the international business agenda in 2018. Find out more about how your company can support #valuable.
