Unilever’s Paul Polman and Verizon’s Ronan Dunne come forward to support #Valuable

Addressing an audience of senior business leaders and 1,400 young leaders from 196 countries, Caroline took to the main stage at the One Young World summit on Friday evening to call for 5 high profile business leaders to lead the charge for the one billion global disabled people on behalf of #valuable – and put disability in business on the agenda at the 2018 World Economic Forum annual conference in Davos.

Twelve business leaders came forward in response to her call, including Unilever Chief Executive Officer Paul Polman and Verizon Wireless Chief Executive Officer Ronan Dunne – demonstrating their personal commitment to champion the issue of disability in business around the world.

Among the 10 other business leaders who joined Polman and Dunne onstage to pledge their commitment to become champions for disability were Telefónica Colombia’s President & Chief Executive Officer Alfonso Gómez Palacio, and Mesoamerica Group Founding Partner & Managing Director Luis Javier Castro.

These business leaders will be supporting Caroline’s mission to identify 500 global businesses that will commit to putting disability on their boardroom agenda by the end of 2018.
