One Young World 2018: Inclusion Revolution
November 2, 2018
On the 20th October, Caroline returned to the One Young World Summit to speak about the Inclusion Revolution – making the case for the business community to open up their models to the mainly untapped disability market and create a more inclusive society.
Caroline welcomed on stage disability activists Amber Bindels and Oscar Anderson to tell their stories.
Caroline was also joined by #valuable’s first business leader, CEO of Unilever Paul Polman, who discussed how the Sustainable Development Goals align with #valuable’s mission.
This year’s summit took place in The Hague, Netherlands, from 17-20 October and brought together 1,800+ young leaders from 190+ countries to debate, exchange and devise solutions to the world’s most pressing issues.
In 2014 One Young World became the first international leadership forum to have disability as a main agenda item, providing activists such as Sinead Burke and Oscar Anderson with a unique platform that has enabled them to go on to have significant impact in other arenas such as fashion and education.
